Working between Finland and Italy, Pyry is a wedding photographer and architect whose visual perspective is shaped by an appreciation for detail, natural materials, and the relationship between people and their surroundings. His architectural background informs the way he observes a setting, while his photography remains natural and documentary in its approach.

Pyry is drawn to genuine moments and the individual character of each celebration, letting events unfold while staying attentive to the details, environments, and interactions that give them their sense of place. His interest in travel and exploration further shapes this perspective, bringing curiosity to the different cultures and settings he encounters.

Having traveled to more than forty countries, Pyry approaches new places with an instinct to observe and discover rather than impose the same visual formula on every setting. Whether photographing in Finland, Italy, or farther afield, his work brings together a documentary sensibility with the considered eye of an architect.
